A tragic toll of 5 dead and 18 injured
In Colorado Springs (State of Colorado), Anderson Lee Aldrich (22) broke into the LGBTQ+ nightclub “Club Q” killing 5 people and injuring 18.

Some customers stopped the bomber, not even five minutes after the first call to the police.
Pamela Castro -Officer of the Colorado Springs Police Department- during the press conference stated that Aldrich just entered the club and fired on the customers with a ‘long gun’.

The man was disarmed and pinned down by some customers present on that dramatic night.
“We thank the quick response of the heroic patrons who immobilized the gunman and put an end to this hate attack.”
This was the statement issued by the managers of ‘Club Q’.

U.S. President Joe Biden, through Twitter, also expressed his and his wife’s solidarity with the victims and those injured in the Colorado Springs massacre.
“Jill and I are praying for the families of the five people killed, and those injured in this senseless attack.”
No certainty yet as to the motive, although it was a homophobic-motivated massacre.
