Today, finally, homosexual couples have been able to find liberation from a terrible repression. An important thing to understand: homosexuality is often seen as a physical relationship, against nature, in reality homosexual couples go through exactly the same process: attraction, falling in love, jealousy, betrayal, life as a couple, children. They have loves exactly like heterosexual couples. You have to understand this, otherwise you can’t understand this need to express themselves’.

At this point, the doubt arises that homophobia and hatred towards LGBT+ people are not all due to the age and society of the past, but perhaps it is ignorance that feeds it the most. After all, in ancient times homosexuality was considered ‘normal’ and it was only after the advent of monotheistic religions (Christian, Jewish and Islamic) that the concept of man and woman received the label ‘Heterosexual’ to the detriment of LGBT+ people.
