Pennsylvania, charge of homosexuality to be removed from penal code

A unanimous vote by the Pennsylvania State House to remove the word homosexuality in certain articles of the Penal Code

The State of Pennsylvania, with a vote of 198 in favor and none against or abstaining, passed House Bill 2125 (HB 2125). Now, the second step in its approval will be a passage through the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Montgomery County Representative Todd Stephens introduced house Bill HB 2125, and as reported by Nicholas Vercilla in the Beaver County Times, would eliminate references to the word ‘homosexuality’ regarding prohibited sexual acts in the State Penal Code.

Of course, there will be no changes in sexual assault and illegal sexual activity with minors.
