San Marino, Paolo Rondelli is the first gay Head of State

A turning point in the Republic of San Marino, which elects its first gay Head of State

San Marino has appointed Paolo Rondelli, gay and an activist in the fight for LGBT civil rights, to the post of Captain Regent of the Republic of San Marino. This is the first gay Head of State elected in the world, in fact, until now we have only had LGBT+ ministers and prime ministers but never a Head of State.

Jamie Wallis, first trans British MP

The president of Arcigay Rimini, Marco Tonti, said: ” This is a historic fact because he is the first Head of State in the world homosexual and an activist for the rights of the LGBTI community. There are precedents between Premiers and Ministers, but it is the first time in the world for a Head of State”.

The UK Government and the new LGBT+ strategy

The position of Captain Regent of the Republic of San Marino is for only 6 months and is intended for two people, and only those born in the Republic of Titano can aspire to be elected to the position.

Yet “REDEMPTION DAYS” is not a novel that takes away space for hope, the same feeling that will take possession of the protagonist’s page after page, directing them to arrive very differently from the departure, a goal in which ideas change, the true virtues emerge, evil and perversions are finally removed, to achieve so, in different ways, their individual redemption.
