Istanbul Pride, several protesters arrested

Turkey continues its path of oppression of the Turkish LGBTQ+ community

Turkish President Erdoğan has banned the organization of Pride in Turkey since 2015 and every year the Turkish LGBTQ+ community takes to the streets to celebrate the end of Pride Month.

And again this year, they took to the streets of Istanbul in support of the fight for the recognition of civil rights for LGBTQ+ citizens.

And like every year, the Turkish police brutally charged the protesters and made indiscriminate arrests. According to sources, more than 360 protesters were arrested. But despite the violence and state-imposed bans, the LGBTQ+ movement is not giving up.

The Istanbul LGBTQ+ Pride Week Committee through Twitter stated that: ”We are not giving up, we are not afraid! We will continue our activities in safe places and online”.

The fight does not stop, despite Erdoğan’s hard punch.

The United States. A group of friends and an association that cultivates ethnic discrimination, racial superiority, and the fight against any diversity as essential pillars of its doctrine. Yet “REDEMPTION DAYS” is not a novel that takes away space for hope, the same feeling that will take possession of the protagonist’s page after page, directing them to arrive very differently from the departure, a goal in which ideas change, the true virtues emerge, evil and perversions are finally removed, to achieve so, in different ways, their individual redemption.
