Alessandro Zan is voted ‘Man of the Year’ at the 2021 Gay.it Awards
Alessandro Zan, deputy of the Democratic Party and ‘father’ of the DDL Zan for a law against homotransfobia, has been elected man of the year in the special Gay.it ranking with 26.78% of votes. In second place was Francesco Cicconetti Mehths with 22.33% followed by Madame at 17.14% and Pietro Turano (6.81%).

There are many classifications at the Gay.it Awards 2021, in fact, in addition to the LGBTQ+ person of the year, we also find the categories: Italian and foreign LGBTQ+ allies. Among Italians, Fedez triumphed with 52.46%, followed by Stefania Orlando (13.89%) and Achille Lauro (8%), while in the international field: Harry Styles (50.13%), Taylor Swift (16.01%) and Ursula Von Der Leyen (11.64%).
