US, CDC bans words that evoke ‘gender ideology’

Donald Trump’s homotransphobic America is slowly becoming a reality.

New restrictions on the activities of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) by the new tenant of the White House.

Scientists at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have been ordered to remove their names or retract studies published in scientific journals that use words reminiscent of the non-existent “gender ideology”.

The list of banned words includes “gender”, “transgender”, “transsexual”, “LGBTQIA”, “non-binary”.

The censorship order is a consequence of the executive order by the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, and his war against the non-existent “gender ideology” to “restore biological truth in the federal government”: man and woman and no one else.

In essence, the order stated that federal agencies would remove all “statements, policies, regulations, forms, communications, or other internal and external messages that promote or inculcate gender ideology”.

This directive was immediately implemented and has caused a number of problems, with the Association of Health Care Journalists officially protesting “the removal of vital public health data from the CDC website”. This is a very large amount of data, covering lifestyle, infectious diseases, for example, which is the basis for the work of scientists, journalists and public health workers.

A very worrying situation.
