A petition by ultra-Christians against the success of the film ‘Wicked’ for being too LGBTQIA
The anti-LGBTQIA organisation One Million Moms (OMM) has published its umpteenth petition and this time it is addressed to Universal Pictures and its film “Wicked” guilty of being openly queer.
Supporters are asked to send this message to Universal Pictures (the film’s distributor): “I do not agree with the LGBTQIA agenda you are pushing on families with the film Wicked. My family and I will not be seeing this film. Universal Pictures has left conservative and Christian families with no choice but to avoid Wicked because it goes against our conventions and values. My family will not support Universal Pictures; you have lost our trust”.
Not only is the anti-LGBTQIA organisation One Million Moms asking its supporters to pledge not to see Wicked: Part One, but also the second instalment, which is due to be released in November 2025.
This anti-LGBTQIA petition has already received over 11,000 signatures as of 10 December.
