The entire community has rallied to support those affected, with many stars using their social profiles to raise awareness and funds to help those who have lost everything.
The fire spares no one and looks no one in the face. And so many international stars have found their homes destroyed by the flames, including Paris Hilton, Billy Crystal and Anthony Hopkins.
Paris Hilton, for example, took to her social media profiles to express her grief after watching her Malibu home burn to the ground on live television, but was still grateful that her family and pets were safe.
Oscar-winning actor Mel Gibson was in Texas filming at the time of the fires and his home was completely destroyed. He too said he was saddened by the loss, but was trying to remain positive.
Billy Crystal, Sir Antony Hopkins, Mark Hamill, James Woods and Mandy Moore also had their homes destroyed by the fires.
