People Magazine has named actor John Krasinski “The Sexiest Man Alive 2024“. The actor, who is best known for playing Jim Halpert in The Office and Jack Ryan in the Prime Video series, has found himself at the centre of attention.
A news he received with astonishment and humour.
“I had an immediate blackout. No thought other than that maybe they were making fun of me. I didn’t wake up thinking, ‘Is this the day they’re going to tell me I’m the sexiest man alive? And yet it was the day you guys did. You guys have really raised the bar for me.”
His wife, actress Emily Blunt, also had a very funny reaction, joking that she would cover the whole house with the cover of People magazine.
The couple, who have been married for 14 years, have two daughters: Hazel and Violet. And they met while acting in 2018’s thriller A Quiet Place, which was directed and co-written by Krasinski himself.
