The European Parliament has condemned three members of the European Union for their state homophobic thinking
The European Union has once again intervened against Poland and Hungary regarding civil rights for the LGBTIQ people. This time, Italy, ruled by an extreme right-wing government and nostalgic for the dictatorial fascist regime, also appears.
Tom Daley’s daddy bis
The European Parliament-it reads in the text approved by a large majority-that:
“Complains about the current anti-rights, anti-gender and anti-LGBTIQ rhetorical movements globally, fueled by some political and religious leaders around the world, including in the European Union; believes that such movements hinder efforts to achieve the universal decriminalization of homosexuality and transgender identity, as they legitimize to rhetoric that LGBTIQ people are an ideology rather than human beings; strongly condemns the dissemination of such rhetoric by some influential political leaders and governments in the European Union, such as with Hungary, Poland and Italy.”
The European Union is noticing the wave of homotransphobia affecting some member states and that little by little could turn into a European epidemic.
