Iconic Cher is reportedly ready to say goodbye to the music scene
Cher has told French newspaper Le Parisien that her next world tour will be the last of her singing career.
“I want it to be a world tour because it will be my last tour“.
She added that this decision was also taken because moving from one place to another in the world has become very tiring, also because Cher is 78 years old.
The news has shocked her fans around the world and many of them will be ready to take part in her last world tour, which will mark her farewell to the international music scene.
Despite her farewell to the stage, Cher will not be resting on her laurels, as she has already lined up a film project in collaboration with the famous director Francis Ford Coppola.
“I am looking forward to doing this last tour and working on this new film project,” said Cher. And she would be ready to dedicate herself more to the world of cinema, an old acquaintance of hers, her last film appearance dates back to 2018 “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again“, directed by Ol Parker.
Her career has spanned decades of great successes that have rightly gone down in international music history with songs such as “Belive“, “If I Could Turn Back Time” and “Strong Enough“, but even though Cher will leave a void in the world of music, she will continue to live on through her songs and unforgettable performances, as well as in the cinema.
